Waggz & Whiskerz
Client Contract Customer’s Risk, Waiver of Liability
and Indemnity:
1.The Customer
acknowledges that he/she leaves his/her pet in the care of Waggz & Whiskerz
Pet Services entirely at his/her own risk both as to bodily injury to the
Customer and his/her employees and other representatives and as to property
damage. In particular, but without limitation, the Customer acknowledges
that any animal (the “Pet”) left in the care of Waggz & Whiskerz Pet
Services by the Customer or with the authority of the Customer shall at all
times be at the risk of the Customer whether or not the Pet is the property of
the Customer.
2.The Customer hereby
releases and holds harmless, waives and discharges, Waggz and Whiskerz Pet
Services and its staff, agents, employees, contractors, affiliates and
representatives (together with their respective heirs, administrators and
assigns) (collectively, the “Company”), from any and all losses, claims, costs,
damages, demands, expenses, actions and causes of action of any nature
(collectively "Claims") arising in any manner from, by or through the
Customer retaining the services of Waggz and Whiskerz Pet Services,
notwithstanding that the Claims may have been contributed to or occasioned by
the negligence, misfeasance or malfeasance of Waggz and Whiskerz Pet Services.
3.The Customer shall be
responsible for all costs incurred as a result of any damage caused by their
pet, including but not limited to injuries to other animals, damage to property
of Waggz and Whiskerz Pet Services, and damage to the property of any third
party.
All dogs being walked will undergo a trial period to ensure that they are adequately trained and socialized.
Dogs must be sociable with other dogs and children.
Waggz
and Whiskerz will apply personal judgment and cut short a walk if
necessary because of extreme weather conditions (ie, heat, thunder
storms) for the safety of both the dogs and the walker.
Waggz
and Whiskerz reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time
& with immediate effect if the dog does not respond well to the
walker and/or other dogs.The client is entirely responsible for any
veterinary bills, no matter how they are incurred, whilst pets are in
the care of Waggz and Whiskerz.
Dogs
should be up to date with all vaccinations, worm and flea treatment.
Waggz & Whiskerz ask that your dog/s are in general good health.
You must advise Waggz and Whiskerz of any behavioral problems, traits or vices your dog may have.
No more than 6 dogs will be walked together by one handler on a group walk.
Waggz
and Whiskerz will care for your dog/s as you would, and whilst we will
make every effort to ensure your dog/s are well looked after in your
absence, Waggz and Whiskerz cannot be held liable for any loss, injury
or death to a pet either inside or outside of the home whilst in our
care.
We
reserve the right to charge a surcharge for hard to handle or fractious
animals. Every attempt will be made to keep your pet happy,healthy and
clean.Waggz & Whiskerz requires two weeks
notice of
termination or Waggz & Whiskerz shall be paid two weeks in advanced.
If immediate termination is required payment to Waggz & Whiskerz
will be enforced at the full price per walk/daycare rate including HST.
At
times it is not always possible to contact owners during an
emergency,however we will do everything possible to contact you (the
owner) in case of an emergency.
We
reserve the right to treat your pet medically if the need should arise.
You will be billed at the veterinary rate for any such medical
problems.
Toys,beds,leashes
etc. Are left at your risk and Waggz and Whiskerz is not
responsible for lost or damaged items or Third Party Damages.
It
is not possible to have a large assortment of diets on hand. If you
wish your pet fed a specific diet please feel free to bring that diet
with you for your pets consumption.
We recommend that all long term guests be bathed or groomed on the day of departure.
All owners are responsible for any costs that are incurred or caused by your pet.
IE)
Damaged property or items in our facility. We have a 3 strike policy in
effect, if your dog causes damage more than 3 times they will not be
welcomed at our facility unless a surcharge is added and contractual
agreement is reached.
Reading
this policy and clicking send on our clients registration page
constitutes a legal agreement between yourself and Waggz and Whiskerz
Pet Services.Once you submit your pet to Waggz and Whiskerz Pet Services
that also constitutes a legal agreement between Waggz and Whiskerz Pet
Services and yourself this also establishes that you understand and
agree to the terms & conditions regarding Waggz and Whiskerz Pet
Services and do not hold Waggz and Whiskerz Pet Services Liable for any
injury or damaged caused to or by your pet while in the care of Waggz
and Whiskerz Pet Services.
